So there were two rounds. The first round involved a presentation and then 5 scenario questions where they wanted to see my experience with Naval assets, facilities, processes, and how I approach problem-solving. The second round was more laid back, just talking about the job itself, what the responsibilities are, potential career growth, benefits, and general expectations.

So I talked to someone at a job fair and got an offer on the spot. Then I waited two months for them to set up a visit to their base to meet labs, but I didn't end up with any of those roles. After that, I waited a couple more months for another offer, which I had only 3 days to accept. Then they rescinded that offer for no reason, and HR contacted me two days later saying it was a mistake. Then I waited another month and a half for clearance paperwork and a drug test. Once that was ready, they gave me 48 hours for the drug test and 7 days for the paperwork. I submitted all my info for clearance and waited a month for interim clearance. It came through, and after another week, HR contacted me with the final offer. The offer amount was lower than previous ones, and they called it a "typo" that would have cost me $3k a year. They fixed it and sent a new offer, giving me 3 days to respond. I asked to speak with the manager, whom I hadn't met, and had a phone call with her. That weekend, I accepted the final offer. Two weeks later, while I was looking at apartments, they rescinded the offer again because the manager changed her mind about needing a computer scientist. Honestly, don't bother with this place. It's disorganized, they take forever to do anything, and then expect immediate responses. NAV AIR was way more organized. Apply there instead.

I had two interviews for pathways engineering internship positions, and neither involved technical questions. They asked standard interview questions you'd find with a quick Google search. One interview was over the phone, and the other was in person at a building off their campus. I should have dressed more formally for the in-person interview; I only wore a button-down shirt and khakis, but a suit would have been better.

I went to a job fair for the different codes they had. A week later, I got a phone call for another interview. It was with 3 people. They were all nice and easy to talk to. We mostly talked about my resume and what I've done before. They asked me some situational questions to see how patient I am.
