First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nautilus Hyosung.
Sales Director
The process started with an internal recruiter reaching out after my online application. Then I had face-to-face meetings with both the VP and the CEO. Both of these interviews were pretty casual, focusing on Q&A and discussing strategies. While there were many positive aspects, the experience was ultimately let down by a lack of clear communication from everyone involved about the compensation plan.
- Tell me about your experience working with distributors.
- Are you able to commit to being in the office daily?
Field Service Engineer
I applied online and two weeks later, I got a call. The first interview was a quick phone call with the regional manager. After that, I had an in-person interview with the area manager. They asked standard questions, mostly about my past experience working with ATMs. Both managers really emphasized how important electrical knowledge and familiarity with machines are, and also using a multimeter.
- Are you familiar with reading a multimeter?
Office Support Staff
The initial interview for the position was pretty basic. My recruiter was half an hour late, which was unusual. The interview itself was standard. I got a call that afternoon saying they wanted me, but the position wouldn't start for almost a month. I told them I'd have to decline if that was the case. They called back the next morning and offered me the job, starting in two weeks.
- Tell me about your previous experience and qualifications.
Sales Executive
It was a really thorough interview, focusing on how I'd approach new business development and manage existing accounts. They seemed really interested in how I'd build relationships with customers who had been with another vendor for a long time.
- Can you tell me about your sales quota for the past five years?
- What were the main obstacles that stopped you from hitting your quota?
- What were the main things that helped you achieve your quota?
