First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nautilus Biotechnology.
Learning & Development Manager
So, the interview process was all over the place. First, I chatted with the recruiter a couple of times, and she was nice. Then I had a 30-minute chat with the hiring manager. But honestly, the interview felt all over the place, and I wasn't sure what level they were even looking for, which was weird because it didn't match the job ad. They also sent a super short, one-sentence email to reject me. Yeah, it wasn't a great experience.
- Could you share your background and career journey?
Research Associate
I applied online through LinkedIn and heard back from them via email about a week later. First, I had a 30-minute chat with a recruiter. A few days after that, I got an email to move forward with a 30-minute interview with the manager. Then, I had a 2-hour on-site interview with some team members and the VP of operations. After that, they asked for references and I got the offer. The recruiter was really helpful and flexible, even when I needed to reschedule.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is your interest in Nautilus?
- Could you elaborate on your experience?
Scientist
I had an initial 30-minute call with a Recruiter, then a 45-minute video interview with the Hiring Manager. After that, I went on-site for 5 interviews. There was a lab visit and I was given a room to talk with different team members, one of whom joined via zoom. It was strange not seeing the actual facilities, especially for a Scientist role.
