I had three zoom interviews. First was with HR to see if I was a good fit. Then I had a technical interview and met with the director. I didn't get the offer because they were looking for someone with more experience in managing ingredient development. The whole process was pretty great though!

I went through three interview rounds. The first was a zoom call with the recruiter to discuss the role, company, and my background and interest in the position. It was a relaxed chat that gave me a better understanding of the job. The second interview, also on zoom, was a science-focused conversation with the scientist I'd be reporting to. We discussed my future responsibilities, the company's research objectives, and my scientific background. This interview was low-pressure, allowing me to assess if the role fit my experience and interests. There were no overly technical science questions, so I could comfortably discuss my lab experience without feeling put on the spot. The final interview was an on-site meeting lasting about three hours with the recruiter, the first scientist, the CSO, the CTO, and another team member. Everyone was very approachable and kind. This round included more behavioral questions. The people I met were down-to-earth, smart, and genuinely passionate about their work at the company.
