First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Natron Energy.
Data Analysis Engineer
Interviewed for 3 rounds, gave 1 hour of coding round (Python and SQL) and then 1 hour of white boarding, with showing plots, answering questions and writing code on coderpad. Scheduled for the Final Round, where I was told after 5 days, that the interview has to be cancelled because they have stopped hiring, Very unfortunate, and a bad candidate experience. I would like to put this to everyone, to be aware beforehand. Not a trustworthy place to work with.
- Coding questions in Python and SQL.
- White boarding questions.
- Show plots and answer questions.
Data Analytics Engineer
applied through a referral - had a 30 min call with the recruiter - then, 2.5 weeks later, scheduled for a technical screening. The technical screen was 1 hr: 30 min for Python and 30 min for SQL. When asked the recruiter about preparation, I was only told to practice Leetcode, but I was tested on Python technical foundations like time complexity, Pandas, and Ohms Law without any prior notice. The SQL part was standard; I think it would be fine as long as one practices coding questions.
- Can you explain the time complexity of the Python code you wrote?
Talent Acquisition
I put in my application online and then had a first chat with a recruiter. It was a good call and made me eager to find out more. The next interview, though, the person seemed checked out, like it was just for show. It left me feeling bummed, especially since that first call had me so pumped about the role. After that, I was totally ghosted and never heard back, not even a rejection notice.
- Can you tell me about your experience in the battery sector?
Program Manager
The interview process involved three rounds: a virtual interview with the hiring manager, followed by a virtual interview with several senior leaders, and concluding with an onsite interview with more people. Although it was a lengthy process, it provided ample opportunities to ask questions and learn about the company and its culture.
- Can you describe the activities involved in coordinating with a general contractor for the installation of new production equipment?
