First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Native Rank.
Digital Marketing Specialist
The interview felt laid back and comfortable. The person interviewing me basically just gave me the lowdown on the company and what the job would involve, which was really upfront and honest, and I liked that. They talked about my salary and mentioned that it would really be based on how much I wanted to earn.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
Sales Executive
First, I had to do a personality test and send in my resume. Then the EVP had me pitch a product from my current company. He also asked about my previous work history and warned me that there would be challenging goals to hit, especially in the first 3-6 months. He wanted to make sure I was good with a lot of calls and networking events, and was upfront that I'd need to work extra hours at the start. He also stressed that if I didn't get up to speed quickly or fit the office vibe, we might have to part ways early on.
- Would you be willing to make a lot of calls for the initial 3-6 months to meet management's goals?
Sales Representative
I met Nate at a networking event after moving to Denver from NJ. He was happy to meet me and invited me to the office for an interview the next week. Nate was very welcoming. He asked me about my past experience and why I would be a good fit. It was more of a chat than a formal interview, with no difficult questions. I felt good about it and was offered the job the day after. They were upfront about everything, and there were no surprises when I started.
- What makes you a better candidate than someone with more digital experience?
Sales Associate
The interview was very casual, just like the company's culture. It felt informal and friendly, which was nice and inviting. It was basically sales people selling a job to me, so naturally, it was intriguing and seemed nice. After they offered me the position, I asked some questions about specifications, and the interviewer reacted negatively, which was unfortunate.
- What is your motivation for seeking this specific role?
