First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nationwide Building Society.
Customer Service Advisor
The interview was great and informative. The interviewer was understanding and asked the questions nicely. They asked for various information regarding my past work experience. It was longer than 15 minutes, as it was originally mentioned in the email that it would be approximately 15 minutes, but it went on for nearly an hour.
- Can you describe a time you dealt with a difficult customer?
Customer Service Advisor
It was a pretty standard interview process. I started with a recruiter call, then had a phone screen. After that, I went for an onsite interview. They did a background check before making an offer.
- Can you tell me about a time you had to resolve a complaint?
- Describe a situation where you had to work under a deadline.
Customer Service Advisor
The interview was on MS Teams with two interviewers. It included three competency-based questions, followed by a role-play where I'd act as an employee and the interviewer as the customer for two scenarios.
- Can you give an example of a time you used data to assist a customer in a previous role?
