It took place at the company's main offices. The interviewers were friendly and made us candidates feel comfortable. We were placed as a group in a conference room with senior staff from different departments. We had to do a group brainstorming exercise together. After that, we had one-on-one interviews with several different people. It was a good learning experience overall.

Had a short, informal phone chat. The interviewer really wanted to focus on past roles on my CV that weren't quite the same as the advertised job. I had to push them to look beyond the title and consider my experience and what I was actually doing in those positions. Ultimately, I found a different job and didn't move forward past this initial screening.

It was a one stage interview process, the interview lasted just over an hour. There were two people from Nationwide, they were both very friendly and made sure I felt at ease. They described the role, asked competency questions, then gave me a chance to discuss the role, ask questions and generally cover any other aspects of working there.
