Accredited Representative
There were two rounds of interviews. First, you'll interview with the team, then with leadership. It's a good idea to come up with your own questions to really get a sense of the job.
- Tell me about a time a client interaction didn't go as planned.
- Describe a time you had to fix a problem that came up with a client.
General
The interview process was pretty standard. They asked about my education and prior work history. Since the job involves a lot of client interaction, they also asked about skills like empathy and communication. They threw in some situational questions too, specifically about working with clients and sensitive immigrant populations within the NSC environment.
- How would you handle a situation where a client is in crisis and you have other tasks that need attention?
Intern
The interviewer was direct, polite, and the chat wrapped up in under 30 minutes. It felt like a pretty easy interview overall. This company is growing super fast, so they definitely need interns to help with all the extra work that comes with expanding.
- Can you share your background working with refugee populations?
- Tell me about a situation where you encountered a challenge in a previous role.
- What was your strategy for dealing with that obstacle?
Case Manager
The interview process was pretty standard, formal, and felt fair. I wasn't contacted after it was over to let me know I didn't get the job. When I followed up, they told me the program had been cancelled.
- Would you be willing to pick up a refugee family from the airport late at night?
