Account Manager
Applied for the job and a few days later was invited to complete an assessment interview. The assessment interview was over an hour long. I got very high scores on the assessment, so I was excited for the next steps. However, I was ghosted after that. It felt insulting, and I think companies should at least inform applicants when they're not being considered. Why waste people's time?

Executive Vice President Operations
Applied online, had an initial recruiter email, followed by a recruiter phone screening. Then I had a Zoom call with the hiring manager, and finally a Zoom with a panel of peers. The main issue was that their recruiting software emails weren't coming through, so I had to chase them up to get a response from their ncs.org email addresses. Overall, everyone I interacted with was really nice and treated me with respect.
- What is your understanding of our organization and the specific role?
- Could you share instances where you successfully brought training to market, and discuss both the successes and failures?
- How would you describe your approach to management?
Public Relations Manager
The interview process was quite long and included 3 in-person interviews and 2 pretty tough writing assignments, all spread out over a month. Everyone involved was really nice and professional. I was impressed by how organized they were and the dedication of the staff. They were clear about what the process would involve, but I didn't anticipate being asked back so many times.
- On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your organizational skills?
- On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your creativity?
Sales
The overall process was outstanding from beginning to end! The first contact was casual, a really open and honest chat where I learned a lot about the job I was going for. Trina Crowder did a good job sharing details about the role, the organization, and the general culture.
- Could you discuss your background?
- What's your approach to management?
- What are your aspirations?
