it was a pretty standard process, first an online chat with a recruiter, then another online chat with a member of the team, and finally an in-person meeting with several team members. they were pretty quick to get back to me after each step.
- Can you tell me about a past project that aligns with the requirements of this position?
Compliance Officer
It was a terrible experience. I had to do 4 interviews with 4 different people on the same day at their office, and they kept asking me the same questions again and again. They ended up rejecting me, which is okay. But then things got weird. They sent me an email saying they wanted to move forward with me, got my hopes up, and then a day later said they actually meant to email someone else with the same name. They didn't even say sorry. Don't bother with this company, they don't seem to care about people.
- How does your past experience translate to this role?

I had a great interview process. It started with a gatekeeper and then I had a series of four one-on-one interviews. These were with HR, my direct report manager, and two other managers. The interviews were held at the company headquarters, which is a new building that has won awards for being environmentally friendly. The office is in a pretty out-of-the-way suburban area and it's very quiet. Everyone I met was great and I would have enjoyed working with them, except for one manager who seemed to have already made up his mind. Fingers crossed!
- Can you tell me about your greatest weakness?

First, you'll have a phone screening with the recruiter. If that goes well, you might get a chance to talk directly with the VP, senior director, and the technical team.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Describe how things operated in your last position.
- What constructive criticism have you received from colleagues?
