First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at National Quality Forum.
Program Operations Coordinator
HR reached out about a week after I applied. The first chat was with someone from HR, pretty standard questions, lasted about 10 minutes. Then, 2-3 days later, I got an email to move on to a Zoom interview with a director. This one was more about my background, and the director was easygoing. I got another email the same day to proceed. The next interview was also on Zoom, with another director and someone else, maybe an associate. This one felt more like an interrogation, a lot of questions in about 40 minutes. When I asked them questions, they seemed uncomfortable and gave weird answers. They said HR would let me know by the end of the week, but I had to wait about two weeks and reach out to find out I wasn't selected.

Analyst, Quality Measurement
This was probably the worst and most frustrating interview process I have ever gone through. The recruiter was very unprofessional and left a very bad impression of the company after finishing up the interview. I was contacted by the recruiter via email to schedule a time to have a brief screening call. During the screening call, she proceeded to tell me she was a very slow typist but she had to write my answers down word for word. I had to pause after every single word to give her time to type. I ended up losing track of what I was saying because she would interrupt me saying I was talking too fast even though I was substantially slowing down my speech and ended up pausing for about 7 seconds per word! Even with simple questions like "why do you want to work here" - when I answered initially with "I want to work here because...", she would pause me right there so that should could write down what I just said. Often times, asking me to repeat things numerous times and pause after each word. Needless to say, during the 30 minute interview, I answered maybe 5 questions because the recruiter needed me to repeat things numerous times and also needed me to pause after every...single....word. She then ended the interview telling me to reach out to her in two weeks. Normally, it is the recruiters job to reach out to you. Instead, she clarified that it was my responsibility to follow up. Really disappointed because I felt I wasted my time preparing and if I had a more competent recruiter, I felt I could answer the questions more comprehensively. However, I felt I had to keep my answers brief and within 5-6 words because the recruiter couldn't type the answers quick enough.

Manager
Got an email from HR for a phone interview. I sent my availability and didn't hear back for a week. I followed up and we finally set a time. The HR person didn't call at the scheduled time and only emailed late that day apologizing for missing it. We rescheduled for later that afternoon, and again, no call. The next morning, HR from NQF called me randomly and unscheduled to do the phone interview. After that, they said I'd move to the next round. I gave my availability, but heard nothing. I had to follow up again to find out when to expect a call. I did have the phone interview with the hiring manager, but still no follow-up. I asked HR if I was still being considered, but they didn't even respond. HR at NQF is a disorganized mess and can't handle basic scheduling. The job sounded interesting, but I wouldn't want to work for a company that gives such a poor impression during hiring.

Managing Director
It was pretty standard, with six interviews with important people like the hiring manager and some of the people who would report to me. This all happened over a few weeks via Zoom. The onboarding process after I was hired was great, though.
