A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn without me applying, saying my skills stood out. After a phone call where I answered some questions, she wanted to schedule an in-person interview. The location was over an hour away, and I had limited PTO. I couldn't use my lunch break for the commute and interview since they were only open Mon-Fri. The recruiter suggested using my PTO for multiple interview rounds. I had to push multiple times to do the interviews remotely, which we eventually did. After 2 months of interviews that seemed to go well, I got a decline letter. The recruiter who reached out and said I'd be a good fit wasted my time and almost my PTO for a job that wasn't going to happen. Recruiters shouldn't encourage working employees they reach out to take time off because they can't accommodate their schedule; it's unprofessional.

I've had the most unprofessional interview experience with this company. Despite seeing other negative reviews, I decided to give them a chance. I had a phone interview and then a Zoom interview. They were late for both calls, and they completely missed my Zoom interview. I waited 15 minutes after our scheduled time and then just left because they had already wasted my time on the phone interview. To top it off, they sent me an automated email saying they were moving on with other candidates. I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but they were so inconsiderate of my time.

The interview process was poorly organized from the start. I got an email to schedule a phone screening, but then they asked to reschedule. After that, I was asked to come in for an in-person interview, and the interviewers didn't seem to know the process or what was next. They emailed again for a second in-person interview and asked for my availability. I heard back four days later saying they'd let me know once the team could coordinate schedules. Their emails also said, 'Please do not add this email address to your contacts. It is only temporary.'

After I applied online, I was called in for an interview at the NIHF headquarters. I met with two leads from the Customer Relations department. They were really nice and easy to chat with, and their questions were more about my behavior and personality. I only had this one interview, and then I got the offer.
