I had a 30-minute virtual interview with a panel of people, including the supervisor for the position, someone from HR, and two of their colleagues. The supervisor gave me about a week's notice before the interview. It seemed to go well, but I never heard back after that.

I sent this to them following my interview. I do have some feedback to share with you. Prior to my first interview, there was no notification by the recruiting team that this would be a 7-person panel event. Before the second interview, there was again no notification of a full panel interview that would not only include my direct supervisor but also those I would directly manage. On Glassdoor, I notice that this also happened to candidates in the past and they mark it as a negative against the organization. Not notifying candidates of this catches them off guard and does not allow them to be prepared as well as they could be for an experience that may rarely occur in their career. It also puts those with covered mental health disabilities such as anxiety and PTSD at a disadvantage. There was also no communication of the process, what the next steps would be or response when reaching out for more information about the process post interview. I also never received a confirmation for my second interview because it was sent to the incorrect address, eventhough that is listed on my resume. I had to call and confirm the day before it after Thanksgiving break. This caused a disruption of my schedule as a leader at my current employer and a rush to arrive and depart from the interview. I hope that this feedback will be passed on and used to better the process for future candidates.

This was the most confusing interview I’ve ever been on. The questions were paragraphs long, lacked cohesion, and it was unclear how they related to the job. The follow-up questions felt loaded, trying to get a specific answer. One panelist was very condescending and passive-aggressive in tone and body language. I knew quickly I wouldn't work well with them. Their approach was 'gotcha' and my 15 years of experience felt reduced because I wasn't answering how they wanted. The process took months with weeks between steps and no communication. I was asked the night before for writing samples and encouraged to send anything additional. I sent them the same night and received no response. Overall a disappointing experience.

The process had one panel interview with 6 employees asking questions from a set list. It was on Zoom and lasted about an hour. Some questions had multiple parts, one employee also put them in the chat. After the interview, I sent work samples. 3 weeks after, they said they were still interviewing and reviewing materials. No contact until an automated rejection came 7.5 weeks after that. Total time over 10 weeks. It was a slow process with little contact from them.
