I went through 3 interviews with this company, and then they went silent for a month. I emailed the recruiter twice with no response. After a month of silence, I got an automated email saying they weren't moving forward. After 3 interviews, I'd expect a personal response.

The interview process was bizarre and unorganized. They didn't let me know upfront that it would be conducted via Skype. They also weren't upfront about all aspects of the job, like travel requirements and who would be formally interviewing me. The whole process felt like a chance for the managers to talk about themselves. HR needs to get back to basics, post accurate job descriptions, and not interview candidates who are clearly overqualified. It felt like a waste of time when they said I was a finalist and asked if I had questions, only for HR to tell me later they chose someone else after the second interview.

I applied for two similar jobs at NAR and heard back about one. The first interview was with HR, then two people I'd be working with. It went well, and HR called me back for a second interview a few days later. In the second interview, I met one of the previous interviewers and a new guy. After that, I sent thank you emails but never heard back. HR didn't return two calls and an email over three weeks, even though she gave me her contact info. I figured out during the second interview that I was being considered for the other job I applied for, which they never told me. I wasn't fully prepared because the jobs were different. I called HR to ask if I was being considered for one or both positions, or if they were combining them, but I still haven't heard back. Their HR department is rude.

We talked about what hybrid work means for the company. They also went over the role and what is expected. I might have to travel to national meetings twice a year. The HR person was really nice and told me a lot about the job and the company culture at NAR.
