So after the recruiter call, their process was 3 parts. First was a technical screen for math and stats stuff, then a programming screen. For the final round, I had a bunch of meetings. I had a behavioral screen with the hiring manager, then a data analysis thing with a team member, then a genomic technical screen with another team member, and then one more math/stats screen with a different team member.

The interview process was quite organized. It kicked off with a recruiter's email, followed by a recruiter call. Then there was a call with the hiring manager, a technical interview covering Python and SQL, a cultural fit interview, and finally a leadership interview. Even though I didn't get an offer in the end, the whole interview experience was very smooth and happened in a timely manner.

The first step was a phone chat with the recruiter that lasted about 20 minutes. It was a basic talk about my background and why I was looking into this job. The recruiter said they liked my profile and that I'd move on to talk with a manager for the role. They told me to reach out if I had any questions. Sadly, I never heard back from them, even weeks later. I did send a follow-up email and call about my application status about a week after, but got no response at all. In the future, it'd be great to get more honest and clear communication from recruiters. Please don't waste my time by saying I'll move to the next stages and then ghosting me. I'd much rather get a quick email saying I'm not moving forward than be ignored.
