The first round was an HR interview for the group, and it was a comfortable and friendly conversation for about twenty minutes. After that, I took a skill quiz to see if I met their requirements. The second round interview was held a week ago with the executive director. Then, there was no response or calls. I thought it was weird because if the employer wasn't satisfied, why did they introduce the staff working in the group one by one and show the salary and benefits? It really felt like I was hired, but nothing happened.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was quick and easy. The recruiter reached out with a preliminary interview. This interview consisted of identifying work history and then review scenarios and how I would respond in these situations. These scenarios all revolve around students/members and different events that can happen during program hours. At the end of the interview, I was asked to come for a second interview, in person. The second interview consisted of a tour of the facilities and introductions to staff and members. After the tour, we reviewed benefits, discussed responses to events that can occur throughout the work day, reviewed the chart for moving up in the company, and reviewed the companies mission statement. The entire company is filled with sincere and kind staff. I have never felt more comfortable and at ease in an interview. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and it seems like a great place to work.

After submitting my application, I got contacted the very next day and we set up an in-person interview. The interviewer was very nice and easy to talk to. We finished the main interview part and then went on a tour of the place where she introduced me to some teachers and explained how the organization is structured. We went back to her office to wrap up with final questions. She gave me some basic info about NLG, like the upcoming schedule and how the salary is broken down.

The interview was conducted over Zoom due to COVID. It involved general questions about my interest in the role and organization, as well as scenario-based questions requiring me to explain how I would handle specific situations. The overall experience was relaxed, and the interviewer, the Nursing coordinator, was very approachable.
