First, there was a Hirevue where I was asked some typical behavioral questions. After that, I had a 30-minute interview with the manager for the internship position I applied for.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. I met with some of the more senior folks on the team. We talked about whether I'd be a good fit for the role and what the job actually involves. It's a pretty unique role, specifically for NASCAR.

Got a 15-minute recruiter call, which went well and covered my skills and why I'd be the best fit. Then, I had a Zoom with the head of the department. She said she was super casual, and while that was fine, she mostly talked about the role and team for 20 minutes. I didn't get much chance to talk about myself or why I'd be a good fit, and she only asked two questions, neither about the job or my skills. I felt I didn't get a fair shot to show I'd be a good fit because I couldn't speak. She asked for my availability for the next two days to set up a Zoom with the rest of the team, but later that day, the recruiter emailed saying they went with someone else.

Applied online, then a recruiter called about a month later. I had a phone interview a week after that, followed by a video interview a week or two later. Because of the holidays, I didn't hear back until after the new year and was initially rejected. However, they contacted me again two months later to see if I was still interested. I then traveled to Charlotte for an in-person meeting and a tour of the facility. About a week after that, a recruiter contacted me to begin the background check and references process. A week following that, I received an offer. I started the job approximately two to three weeks after receiving the offer.
