First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NASB Financial.
Financial Analyst
I talked with two of the managers. They gave me the lowdown on the job and the company vibe. They asked if I was good with the Microsoft suite, especially Excel. It was a pretty chill experience and the managers were cool.
- Are you proficient in Excel and how have you used formulas?
Teller
You'll likely chat with the branch manager and head teller. Just be real, chill, and have a good time. The local management here (not the higher-ups) really care more about finding someone they vibe with and who's genuine. So, be cool, share some fun stuff from your past jobs, and keep smiling.
- Tell me about a situation where you did more than what was asked of you.
Personal Banker
I met with the Branch Manager for my interview. She seemed really nice and I felt like we had a good meeting. She said she'd let me know where I stood in two weeks, but after sending a thank you card and a couple of emails, I never heard back from her.
- Tell me about your sales experience.
Mortgage Operations
Over approximately two weeks to a month, I went through several interviews. These included initial talks with HR and the hiring manager, followed by interviews with several senior team members simultaneously.
- Which past job or role do you feel best prepared you for a position at NASB?
