The NASA JPL Engineering Internship interview experience involved several rounds, and it wasn't a typical technical interview. It felt more like a conversation. They were more interested in discussing your past projects and what you know rather than asking standard questions.

I had an onsite interview with the recruiter at a career fair. They were really focused on my GPA, and honestly, they weren't the friendliest. They glanced at my resume and didn't ask much, just what I was interested in working on, and they really emphasized how critical GPA is to them and that they check it. This is for a summer internship.

I applied through JPL's internship portal, and there are actually two! One is a general submission, and the other is for specific positions, which a lot of people don't know about. A section supervisor contacted me, and we had a short phone interview, about 30 minutes long. I heard back in under a week and was offered a summer position.
