I traveled from out-of-town at my own expense to interview in person. They treated me rudely and were unprofessional. First, they put me in what nearly amounted to a closet and closed the door until the interviewers were ready. The interviewers gave me gooney looks and did not engage in small talk I began as I was leaving the interview. Asked after the interview what qualities they were looking for that I was missing and got no response. Submitted a FOIA request for the interview notes, where their attorney fought against release.

Behavioral Technical

I talked to three people for the interview. It was a pretty standard process. First, they asked me to talk about myself and my background. Then, they hit me with some technical questions directly related to the job. After that, it was mostly "normal" interview questions, like asking me to "describe a time when you....". The very last question was basically an open mic for anything I'd forgotten to mention or to ask about the role. If they offer me the job, I'll likely accept. Not getting an offer won't stop me from being excited about interviewing with NASA again.

It was a virtual interview. They asked some tough, open-ended questions. I got 2-3 minutes to prep my answers right before the interview. After the questions, we had time to discuss. The manager even offered a debrief after they picked someone, which was really helpful.

The interview was pretty much about getting along with people and technical stuff related to my background. They went over my resume and asked technical questions, then they asked usual questions about how I am with people. Since I was out of state, the interview was over the phone.
