Licensed Practical Nurse
I filled out an application and then got an email to schedule a phone interview. The email wasn't working initially, but I contacted the recruiter and they fixed it within two hours. The actual phone interview lasted about 10 minutes.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Data Entry Assistant
The interview process was quite unusual. It started with an interview invitation sent via email, which had several grammatical mistakes and odd phrasing. The interview itself was conducted through a text-based system with automated responses, meaning there was no interaction with a human. I suspected it might be a scam and tried contacting the company's HR to verify the job and interview, but received no response. Despite this, I was extended an offer. However, any attempts to ask questions were met with automated replies that only partially addressed my concerns. I really wish I could have spoken with an actual person. The entire experience was very strange, and I believe I might have accepted the offer if the interview process had been more satisfactory.
- What are your distinguishing qualities and how would you handle a tight deadline?
Licensed Practical Nurse
The interview process was straightforward. They wanted to gauge your understanding of the role, emphasizing its inherent dangers and the importance of patient safety despite risks. You were informed about the staffing ratio, where typically only two LVNs are responsible for over 600 patients, with just one RN on duty for the entire shift. (However, based on my experience working there, the LVNs often handle more due to the RNs being occupied with their own extensive patient load!)
- Could you introduce yourself and explain your interest in this position?
- What is your nursing experience duration?
- Can you describe your nursing skills?
Licensed Professional
Nothing out of the ordinary happened during this interview until the very end when they asked for completed background check paperwork to get a head start. This included a copy of my driver's license, social security number, and ethnicity. This paperwork was handed to the receptionist, and everyone in the office had access to it.
- Could you provide the completed background check paperwork to get a head start?
- Do you have a copy of your driver's license?
- What is your social security number?
