First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NAPA Auto Parts.
Human Resources Manager
The interview process was fair but very lengthy. You go through at minimum 3 rounds of interviews and then any additional questions or testing they may have you will go through that as well. Overall not a bad experience. I would recommend knowing about the company.
- Why do you want to work for Napa?
Human Resources Manager
The interview process was quite intense. It involved a Watson-Glaser test and an assessment by a Psychologist. There were multiple video interviews, followed by an in-person meeting with the General Manager. Dealing with HR at the headquarters for the background check also took a while.
- Would you be open to relocating?
- Describe your leadership style.
- How would you handle challenging employee situations?
Human Resources Manager
The interview process was quite long and disjointed. It started with a short phone interview, followed by an in-person one-on-one. After that, they had me come back for a warehouse tour and to meet the management team. We did multiple interviews with the whole management team, and then I got an online assessment to do at home. Unfortunately, I never heard back after that. I think it would be better for everyone if they had candidates do the online assessment first and then give feedback or at least notify them if they weren't selected, to save time.
