Technical Coding Presentation

The interview and assignment process went really well, and I felt I did a great job with everything on my end. The assignment was challenging, but honestly, it required way too much for just a 48-hour timeframe, especially needing code documentation and a hosted link for what was essentially a backend dev interview. Even though I managed to complete everything perfectly, it felt like the interviewer had already made up their mind about another candidate.

Behavioral Other

The interview process involved only recorded video submissions and no in-person interviews. There were delays in responses, and it didn't feel like a very employee-friendly process. Additionally, the interview stages seemed mismatched with the role applied for.

Behavioral Technical

First up was a profile screening with HR, mostly done via email since the jobs are all remote and there's no physical office in India. After that, I had a portfolio review with a designer. He was pretty junior in the field or the company, but he was interviewing for a lead role. The last step was an online skill assessment, which was a one-way video interview process.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Could you elaborate on your design process?
  • How do you approach the execution of design tasks?
  • What is your approach to managing a team?
