First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nanshan Holdings.
Administrative Assistant
It was an onsite interview. They asked a bunch of questions about my resume and past work experience, wanting more details on everything. There was a second round interview too. The vibe was more serious. It was about 30 minutes long in a quiet office space.
- Introduce yourself and walk me through your work experience.
- Could you please provide more details about each experience on your resume?
Staff Accountant
It wasn't super organized. I got there on time, but the interviewer wasn't ready. What was worse, they didn't ask me any job-related questions, just stuff about my legal status and how loyal I'd be long-term.
- Do you require sponsorship
Production Technician
The interview process was a bit time-consuming, but thorough, and it made you appreciate it because you knew they took pride in the employees they hired. There were about 6 employees and managers from different departments who interviewed me, and they all asked a few questions. They were quick to let me know I had a job offer.
- What are your 5-year career goals with this company?
Legal Counsel
It involved 3 rounds of interviews with managers at different levels. However, the General Manager in Singapore isn't the final decision-maker for hiring. They seem to struggle with their HQ's standards, as they expect candidates to be able to handle court or arbitration independently.
- Can you tell me about your experience in the petrochemical sector?
