Had a screening phone call, then 2 in-person interviews. The first interviewer was nice. The second interviewer, who was the morning supervisor, seemed really cranky and was rushing through the questions, she was irritated the whole time. She then gave me a tour of the manufacturing site. She didn't acknowledge her coworkers when we passed them. After the tour, as I was leaving, I heard her swear about me. It was really bad how little empathy and respect she showed. I wouldn't have accepted an offer even if one was made.

First, I had a chat with HR, mostly behavioral stuff. Then, an interview with the hiring manager. The last one was also with a hiring manager from the same team, with lots of technical and behavioral questions. So, three interviews in total. After a week, they asked about my visa status, and I'm still waiting to hear back.

Behavioral Technical

I had a phone interview with the Director of the group, and we really connected, so it went longer than planned. After that, I went on-site for interviews with a manager, three technical folks, the director, and their VP. The two junior technical people were new to interviewing, which made it easy, and we had a good time discussing the work environment. The senior technical person and the manager did a fair job of asking about my experience and how I handled both technical and interpersonal issues. I found the director to be really enthusiastic, smart, and interesting to talk to, and he seemed very positive about me. He seemed like a great person to work for. My time with the VP felt like a waste; he was disengaged and didn't seem to know how to interview. I initially thought he wasn't trying because he'd already decided against me and would prevent an offer, and I was surprised he didn't end it early. It turned out I was wrong about his intentions; he was just incompetent.

Behavioral

This job had a four step interview process: first a phone screen, then a 30 minute video behavioral interview, followed by an in-person panel interview with 4-5 people, and finally a 45 minute interview with another interviewer. The last interview was supposed to be part of the panel, but that interviewer couldn't make it there.
