Graduate Engineer
First, you gotta do this psychometric test. If you pass that, they'll give you a call for an interview. Then there's a behavioral interview with just 7 questions, and you really gotta use the STAR method for it.
- What makes you want to apply for a position at Nampak?
Machine Operator
They stick to the job description. Practice all possible questions in the field you applied for. Don't guess. If you don't have an idea of the question, simply say you will research it.
- Tell us what you know about the Body Maker machine.
Customer Service Representative
The interview process focuses heavily on behavioral questions using the STAR method, so you should definitely know how to use that. They always interview using this method. You should research questions and answers and prepare them. The bulk of the interview will be based on this, and obviously questions like 'tell me about yourself' and situational questions to establish your knowledge of the job.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Could you describe a situation using the STAR method?
- How would you handle this job-related situation?
Graduate Trainee Engineer
The interview was pretty straightforward, clocking in at 40 minutes. It featured Verbal, Numerical, and Abstract Reasoning questions, with no calculator allowed. The office space was clean, they started on time, and they provide excellent staff benefits and welfare packages.
- Numerical questions were given to assess your speed.
