First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Namaste Laboratories.
Marketing
The process was quite long. I was referred by an agency. I interviewed with the hiring manager and then heard nothing back. The hiring manager was very pleasant, but the entire process took a very long time. There's definitely room for improvement in terms of communication.
- Can you tell me about your experience with event management in this industry?
Finance
Had a phone interview with the recruiter. Then I went in for the interview and ended up waiting forever for the Finance Manager. The recruiter was just stalling for time because the hiring manager was taking so long. I also saw two Indian employees having a loud argument and then this black employee. I'm bringing up race because I am Indian and I was hoping that a company owned by an Indian person in the U.S. would be different from back home. Unfortunately, it's not. So I decided to withdraw my application before they could even make an offer. Some inappropriate questions were asked.
- Do you own a car?
Financial Analyst
I first connected with the role via an external recruiter who introduced me to an HR consultant. While she was a bit behind schedule, she was super warm and friendly. My plans changed last minute, so I ended up speaking with the HR Director instead of the Hiring Manager. She was also very nice but asked me a lot of the same questions the HR consultant already had. The Hiring Manager and his manager interviewed me together. They were quite upfront about potential challenges in the role, which I found interesting, though it didn't really affect me. They did ask some solid technical questions.
- Do you have plans for marriage?
ECommerce Manager
There were stages and rounds of different people to talk to. The first was a recruiter contacting me, then a phone interview for technical skill evaluation. After that, HR phone calls and scheduling happened. This was followed by an in-person interview with executives. Then negotiating terms, and finally a phone interview with the head of HR. The process was straightforward and direct. Wonderful people to work with, considerate and accomodating.
- Can you outline what a 90-day business plan would entail?
- Could you provide various business model scenarios for online marketplaces and their fulfillment methods?
