First, there was an IQ test with 50 questions, due in 12 minutes (really easy, just needed to think). Then, a Quality Assurance Test with 50 questions, due in 44 minutes (a bit tricky, but okay if your basics are strong). After those two, we had a Face to Face round with basic questions like STLC, Agile, Severity, Priority, and examples, and also 'Why do you want to change your current employer?'. Finally, a quick HR round to discuss current CTC, expected CTC, and experience, and that was it. They said I'd get an offer letter within 2 working days.

The interview process at Nagarro Gurgaon began with registration followed by an online IQ test. This 12-minute test had 50 logical reasoning questions and was an elimination round with a high cutoff score. Next was a QA test lasting 44 minutes with 50 questions, covering both manual and automation aspects, with a major focus on automation coding questions. This round was of moderate to difficult difficulty and also served as an elimination round. Following this, there was an interview with two interviewers. One interviewer seemed rude and distracted, spending most of the 20-minute slot on his phone and not engaging with the candidate. The other interviewer was professional and gave the candidate adequate time. Unfortunately, my turn came with the less professional interviewer. He asked about my years of experience, then immediately started asking irrelevant questions without any introduction, and concluded the 15-minute session after spending 10 minutes on his phone. It felt like a waste of time. I am waiting for the results, but if selected, I would decline an offer to join that interviewer's team. My advice to management is to respect candidates who reach the final interview stage, given the tough process.

This interview process might be the worst you'll experience. The HR team doesn't seem to know the actual skills needed for the role. They conduct a lot of rounds, around 6, which can be frustrating. The questions asked are generally basic. The whole process can drag on for over a month, which is a lot, especially if you need to take leave from your current job. To the HR and management, please check candidate reviews and be more realistic. Frustrating candidates with too many rounds and offering very low salaries isn't a good strategy. For candidates, try not to expect much and don't obsess over the number of rounds or days, as it can cause panic.
