Director
If you have a candidate attend multiple interviews it is professional to at least give them a response back versus ghosting them. The same professionalism and respect you expect from candidates or employees, should be given back. I would not recommend this organization based on the professionalism and the way they treat candidates.
- What makes you want to work for NACHC?
Accountant
The interview process spanned 4 weeks. The first interview was with the hiring manager and another management colleague, and it went well, they said they enjoyed speaking with me. The second interview was with two managers from departments that work closely with accounting, and that interview also went well. The third interview was with Mary the CFO, and I didn't really feel the same welcoming vibe with her, she was in her car. Then I got a rejection email saying another candidate was selected. Interestingly, they reposted the job that same day.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Describe your management style.
Policy Research
It was a phone call where they asked general questions like why I was applying, why NACHC specifically, to tell them about myself, and if I had any experience related to the job. I really liked NACHC, it was a great experience, totally worth applying!
- Do you have any experience with data and policy?
- Why are you applying for this specific position?
- Why NACHC?
Deputy Director
I had a first round interview with the immediate supervisor for the position that went really well, then was invited for a second round panel interview with three panelists who took turns asking me questions. In one word, it was unprofessional. And that is putting it kindly. Aside from the question example, two of the three panelists were unfriendly and cold. They also didn't respect the interview process or my time, because one was wearing a "nice" t-shirt and the other a baggy T-shirt you would wear to the gym.
- How would you ensure staff turn in their work on time given everyone is busy and has a lot on their plate?
