The hiring process involved two stages, both conducted online since it's a remote position. First, there was an HR chat to discuss why I'm looking to switch jobs and my salary expectations. Then, a technical interview where we talked about my previous work.

  • What is your expected salary?

First interview was really nice and friendly. Second, a 90-minute technical interview covering things like middleware, filters, threads, tasks, and thread pools. The interviewer got a bit argumentative during this stage, which happened twice.

Technical Coding

The interview was very structured, like a checklist. They had specific questions about C#, LINQ, Entity Framework, and Scrum. Instead of talking about my actual experience, the interviewer just wanted to tick boxes. It felt more like a quiz than a real chat between developers. The interviewer seemed bored, and the feedback was super generic, not telling me anything useful to improve on. On the plus side, it started and ended on time and was quick. But it wasn't very deep or engaging for a technical interview. If you're going next, expect a Q&A session, not a hands-on technical discussion.
