The sales side of the interview process was really energetic. However, the engineering side was pretty disrespectful, and they kept changing interview times on us multiple times across different interviews. This was tough because it's hard to rearrange things when you already have a full-time job. The pre-sales engineering team seemed too focused on trying to trip me up on a technical question, instead of actually finding out about the other crucial parts of the job, like soft skills, how I handle client relationships, am relationships, financials, pitching to c-level execs, and managing resources.

The hiring process for this fast-paced, high-volume sales role went smoothly until the final stage. Initially, there was a phone screen, followed by interviews with two VPs. These VPs, described as intelligent and hardworking, posed challenging questions typical of a serious sales position. The main issue arose with the final step: after a week of no contact, the hiring manager requested references. Believing this meant an offer was imminent if references checked out, notable contacts were provided, including the current manager. This led to an awkward conversation and internal realignment at the candidate's current company. A few days later, the candidate was informed they were going in a different direction, with no clear explanation provided despite follow-up attempts.

The interview process was the easiest I've ever experienced. It is so refreshing to interact with a company that acknowledges the anxiety around a job hunt and does its best to alleviate that. Overall, it took about 3 weeks between applying and being offered my position. After submitting my application, I received a link for a survey a couple of hours later. The next day, I received an email to set up a phone interview. The day after the phone interview they asked me to fill out the DISC personality survey and then set up an in-person interview with the hiring coordinator and the position's manager. Finally, I was asked to set up a call between Myriad and my references.

I had a good first call with the recruiter, she gave me info and said she'd email about the next step. Then, I had a 2-person panel interview. The first person talked about the job and what's needed, then asked about my background, but it felt like a formality. The second person asked me about my strengths and mistakes and how I learned from them to be a better professional.
