Graduation Specialist
I interviewed with the VP and was offered the job. I was asked about my previous experience and how this role could help me at MFP. I had worked with several people at Myfootpath before, including a former direct report (as Director of Admissions) and two Graduation Specialists I worked under.
- How do you think your previous experience could help you in this Graduation Specialist role?
Enrollment Specialist
The interview involved going over my resume and asking about my past experiences. The interviewer asked scenario-based questions about how I would handle situations as an enrollment specialist. They also mentioned checking my references and whether I meet monthly targets. I was told I got the job during the interview, pending reference validation. I accepted the offer.
- Did you meet your monthly metrics in your previous role?
- How would you handle different scenarios as an enrollment specialist?
- Will you meet your monthly metrics?
Graduation Specialist
I went through 3 interviews. The first two were with managers and went pretty well. They showed me around the office and seemed nice. The last interview was with the CEO. He spent most of the time making fun of me, giving me backhanded compliments, saying my last job seemed easy and boring, and that I seemed underqualified. Even though he was like that, they still offered me the job, which I turned down. The CEO really messed up the whole experience for me.
- What motivates your interest in this position?
- Could you share your experience in supporting students from various backgrounds?
Admissions Representative
I had a short 5-minute phone call with a staff member after applying. They told me more about the job and asked about my work background. The conversation seemed good, and they said they'd email me to set up an in-person interview for the next week, but the email never came. I reached out again to the person who interviewed me to see if the job was still open, but I never heard back.
- Can you tell me about your current employment and your experience working in education?
