First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at My Wireless.
Inventory Receiver
I started by sending in my resume through Indeed. Then they emailed me back to set up an interview if they liked my application. We did the interview online using Microsoft Teams. After that, they got back to me in a few business days. The hiring process finished with filling out some forms and getting confirmation.
- Can you tell me about your skills and experience that would be useful for this role?
Payroll Clerk
First there was a short phone call, then an in person interview with the hiring manager and the team. They gave us technical skills assessments. During the interview, they presented scenario situations.
- They wanted to know more about your personal interests and career goals.
- You were presented with hypothetical scenarios to gauge your problem-solving approach.
General Manager
super simple, you apply, get an email, do a video interview (make sure your webcam works, it's a pain), then a face-to-face interview, followed by a background check, and then you start training. The training is about two weeks long and mostly web-based. After a few days on the floor, they test you out and then it's time to make some money.
- Can you try to sell me this phone?
Sales Associate
I'm in los angeles ca and applied for the Sales Associate job there. I arrived 20 minutes before my 11 Am interview. The manager liked that I got there early. He asked me a few questions, and the whole thing took about 10 minutes. He seemed impressed with my answers and offered me the job on the spot.
- He inquired about my previous retail experience, to which I responded that I have 8 years.
- He asked about my customer service experience, and I stated I have 8 years.
- He asked if I had cash handling skills, and I confirmed I do, so I can work a cash register.
