Creative Strategist
HR reached out to me to set up a 45-minute chat with a current team member. I thought the interviewer asked great questions and I enjoyed responding to them, but unfortunately, I didn't get to the next stage. It would have been nice to get some feedback, but I just got an automated reply.
- If you could have dinner with any three people, living or deceased, who would they be?
Sales Director
This was a really thorough interview process, though it felt fair. They asked for references and actually called them. I talked to the CEO, COO, SVP, HR, and another Sales Director. HR was super helpful and organized. Because of the pandemic, all the interviews were on Zoom, which made it a bit tough to really get a sense of the company culture and what the opportunity was like.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- Describe your network of contacts.
Data Scientist
The first interview was about learning about the company and talking about my background and experiences. Then, the second interview was in-depth about my skill set and how it could be applied to the company. I was also introduced to a case study. I was given a week to come up with a solution for the case study and was able to communicate with an employee if I had any questions. After presenting my solution and answering questions, I was given an offer a couple of days later.
- What programming languages are you familiar with?
- Can you tell me about your experiences with libraries in different programming languages?
- What's your experience with APIs?
Software Engineer
I had an initial screening interview with the hiring manager, then a technical screening with a team member. After that, I had a 'real' round of interviews with teammates and potential stakeholders, which included a technical interview. Overall, it was a great process that respected my time.
- Talk through debugging a small nodejs app presented to you.
