The interview process was quick. I spoke with a few people and they moved things along fast. We talked about my previous work experience and my interest in the role. It was a good conversation.

I went through 2 rounds of interviews. It was more of a conversation, and I spoke with different people on separate days. Everyone I met was friendly and seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me, which made it feel pretty comfortable.

Got an interview invite two weeks after seeing the job on their website. The interviewer was a little late, and we chatted for about 2 hours. That was it, no one else. I sent a thank you email afterwards, and they replied with a "thanks for coming in, we'll be in touch." I knew they weren't in a rush, and a friend interviewed for it later and also didn't get it. I followed up about 3 weeks after the holidays, and they said they were still looking and I was a top candidate. The job stayed up for 4 months, and I never heard back, basically ghosted. It's frustrating when you're hiring for a senior role and don't get a proper follow-up, win or lose.
