Gear Advisor
It was a pretty simple interview, mostly asking behavioral questions. Since I had worked there before, it was pretty chill because I knew the interviewer. Just be sure you sound confident and know your stuff.
- Can you share an example of a time when...?
Sales Agent
The interview focused on my extensive experience as a CSR. My only sales background was at a Durable Medical Equipment Store where we delivered oxygen to patients and set up new customers. A key part of our job was assessing the client and their home for potential needs of other DME we offered, and then pitching those products.
- As a CSR, would you be comfortable with the idea of selling musical instruments and equipment over the phone?
- Can you recall instances where you suggested additional products to customers?
Instrument Repair Technician
HR reached out initially and wasn't interested because I wanted to start after school finished in a few months. Then, they got back in touch and were interested after all. I had a quick and very generic phone interview with HR. After that, I traveled for an in-person interview with my potential supervisor, and they covered my gas. It was a relaxed setting. I got a tour and was asked about myself. It felt personal, and I liked the people in the department. Finally, I did an untimed bench test where I fixed some instruments they had ready for me.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Lead
Things have changed and are more difficult to transfer internally.
- Who was the worst supervisor you've ever had, and can you explain why?
