I was unhappy with how long it took to get feedback between interviews, it took two weeks after the first one and a week after the onsite. Even though they said I did well, I didn't get the job after three weeks total.

after a few initial calls with HR, I had a long interview process that included a trip to HQ with an overnight stay, a mock sales presentation to a board, and a site tour where the facility and employees were nice.

They bring you in and you meet with like 5 different people in the room and they are just randomly asking questions. The 2nd interview is the same thing, just different people and they usually ask different questions.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process felt off from the start, with many reviews mentioning toxic management, which seemed to be true. The questions felt like they were more about my previous employer's practices than about me joining their team. The interview had 5 people on a panel. One interviewer openly admitted to hating interviews, which gave a bad impression and made me question his engagement. Another interviewer had their camera off, supposedly waiting for a dentist appointment, while expecting me to be perfect. A third person seemed dismissive of my past accomplishments at a much larger global corporation, which felt like belittling my efforts. They acted as if their company was the center of the universe, exhibiting a 'sinking ship' mentality. Ultimately, they didn't extend an offer or ask me back, which I was glad about, feeling I handled myself better than the interviewers. I suspect they were using 'employee assimilation' tactics. I declined further involvement with the recruiter, feeling they were being disingenuous and almost mocking me. I felt like I came out ahead.
