So I had a virtual technical interview first, then a second in-person interview. The engineering team was really great, super friendly and they really impressed me. But the recruiter? Extremely unprofessional and rude, totally soured my view of the company. She was rude on the phone from the start, ignored my emails, gave snarky replies, and didn't even greet me for the interview. The team wanted to hire me and the recruiter called with a verbal offer, saying I had about 6 days to decide. I asked for a small extension because I wanted to be fair to another company I was interviewing with. Because I asked for that extension, the recruiter decided to tell the team I was more interested in the other company and gave the job to someone else without even telling me. Then she tried to backtrack in an email and denied saying I had time to consider. It's wild they expect an immediate decision over the phone and then revoke the offer if you mention interviewing elsewhere. Totally unprofessional and a waste of candidate time.

I filled out an application and then got called in for an orientation about a week later with a bunch of other people. We learned about the company policies and history, then toured the plant to see the different departments and what they make. After the tour, I did some mechanical and math tests. A few days after passing those, I had an in-person interview with the HR manager, a department manager, and a senior manager. It went well. They called me a few days later with a conditional job offer, pending a physical at CBI.

The interview process was quite easy. I met with the hiring manager, who was knowledgeable but not an expert. HR was a bit stingy and offered a salary at the lower end of the range. During the interview process, I also interacted with managers from Engineering, Production, and Quality departments. The role itself involves handling requests from various teams to optimize production cycle times. Interestingly, a bachelor's degree isn't strictly required; an associate degree with relevant experience would suffice.

The first step is a 10-question test covering quality engineering, machining, materials, and English. You need at least 6 correct answers to move on. The next stage is a group activity, which can differ from interview to interview. If there are still more than 2 candidates after the activity, there's a final third stage: an interview with the manager in English.
