Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Munich Re.
Consultant
Munich Re is really good at one thing: disappearing after they say they'll follow up. HR told me I'd hear back by a certain date but then they vanished. It was weird because when I interviewed for another job, a different HR person did the exact same thing. I guess they like to be consistent.
- What's the reason for leaving your previous employment?
- Can you explain your understanding of this role?
Consultant
The interview process involved an initial call, followed by a second interview that included a case study. For the case study, I had one hour to prepare and then 20 minutes to present, with about 40 minutes for questions afterwards. The case study had three questions related to the approach for main job functions.
- What are the main challenges within the e-mobility sector?
- Describe your strategy for identifying and acquiring new clients through lead generation.
Senior Consultant
I had a phone interview which included a lot of technical questions, and it was interesting.
- Tell me about the toughest problem you have had to resolve.
