I had a phone interview and was selected for a second round with the Director. After a long wait, they told me they chose another candidate. The HR person I first spoke to never replied to my calls or emails. They also didn't forward my thank you note to the Director. It was a really bad impression of the company how the HR acted, like candidates were just objects.

The interview process started with a 30-minute written test where I had to work alone in a meeting room to complete a report. I could either handwrite it or type it into a provided PPT. After the written test, there was a 45-minute interview. During the interview, I had to present the summary I prepared. The interviewer then asked follow-up questions to assess my analytical skills and knowledge of financial trends. The interviewer also went over my CV and explained the job duties, which seemed pretty standard.

It was pretty straightforward and focused on my past experiences in the industry. They didn't ask much technical stuff, just wanted to know what technical skills I brought to the table. They dug into details from my resume and asked for specific examples and stories.
