I'm reposting this review because the company only got back to me with a rejection AFTER I posted it in December 2022, even though the job was originally posted in 2022. It's a shame because I really enjoyed talking to the recruiter, but then I was ghosted even after two follow-ups. I spent 45 minutes on the initial video call, so it was super frustrating to get no response at all. I was really excited about Multiverse before this, but ghosting candidates is just so disrespectful.

I had 2 initial chats with someone from the talent team, each about 25 mins. It was a really pleasant and informal conversation. I answered a bunch of questions and was mindful that they weren't in Product, so I made sure to give them background and details in my answers. I felt good about how I did and thought I made a good impression. But then, 5 days later, I got an email saying I didn't make the cut, with zero feedback. It wasn't until I circled back to the recruiter about something he'd mentioned that he gave me some feedback, like he felt obligated to. The feedback was 'try and be more concise with your answers.' Which was super annoying since I'd intentionally made them not concise.

I had a super smooth interview experience, honestly one of the best. It was broken down into three parts. First, I talked with the hiring manager. Then, I did a case study with some of the team. Lastly, I had a meeting with Product Leadership that lasted about an hour. The recruiter gave me feedback after each part, which was awesome and made me feel like they really wanted me on the team. Overall, it was a really great interview.
