The application and the initial phone call were handled by a headhunter. Afterward, an on-site meeting was arranged. My interviewers were from senior management. The conversation started with introductions from both interviewers, followed by my introduction, incorporating my resume. Several questions were asked about specific parts of my background. Then, the task was discussed in detail, my position within the organization was clarified, and questions about the specifics were answered thoroughly or discussed. The entire conversation felt like an equal footing discussion and was pleasant for me. Unfortunately, there was no invitation for a follow-up meeting. The rejection, without further explanation, came through the headhunter. Future steps would have included a second interview and possibly an online assessment.

The whole hiring process took several months and was really unclear. They said they'd get back to me within two weeks, but I haven't heard anything even after two months. The job is still posted, and my application is still marked as 'in progress'. It started with a virtual chat about my experience and why I want the job, not much technical stuff. Then there was an in-person meeting where they focused again on personal stuff and less on technical skills. Some questions from the first chat were repeated. That's also when I really understood the scope of the job, especially the big part of responsibility and organizing, which wasn't clear from the ad or the first chat. After that, I got a tour of the facility and saw my potential workspace. Getting feedback was very slow or didn't happen at all, even when I asked.

So far, I've gone through 3 out of the 4 interviews planned. The first was a chat with HR, who's been super helpful and quick to respond. Then I had a video call on Teams with the supervisor for the role. It felt like a really family-oriented place. After that, I got an analytical task with some data and questions, and I heard my work on it was well-received. The third interview was a Teams call with a fellow analyst. She was nice and really knew her stuff, and the team seems pretty supportive. The next step is meeting with the CFO.

We had one interview online, and then an in-person one with a task. The online interview included questions about why you want this role, why you enjoy marketing, and your experience. It was friendly and informal. They also asked about a significant accomplishment.
