First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Multi-Tech Systems.
Intern
It was pretty easy, just a phone screening and then an in-person interview with the hiring manager. They asked some technical and behavioral questions. The questions were straightforward and the managers were nice.
- Can you share an instance where you had to manage a difficult team member?
Software Engineer
The process began as expected. A recruiter contacted me for an initial chat about my personal and academic background, and then set up a phone interview. After passing that, I had another interview with the team manager for a skills assessment. Following that, I met with a panel of directors to evaluate my attitude and problem-solving abilities, which covered behavioral aspects. Finally, I received a job offer. I engaged in salary negotiations, and then accepted the offer. Overall, looking back, the entire experience was quite engaging.
- What would be your course of action if you don't get this job even after completing all the interview stages?
Electronic Technologist
First, there was an HR phone screen where I had to complete some questionnaires. Then, I had an HR onsite 1:1 interview. They didn't ask any technical questions, just chatted to see if I would be a good fit for the company. Finally, there was an interview with the Lab manager.
- Can you tell me about a challenging situation you encountered and how you managed to resolve it?
Software Engineer
I had a recruiter call first, then they sent me a background technical test to complete. After that, there was a phone interview with HR. Lastly, I came in for an in-person interview.
- Can you discuss your experiences as a recent graduate?
- Tell me about your senior design project.
- Can you elaborate on your microcontrollers course?
