I applied for the Engineering Intern position and after a good interview, I was recommended for the full-time Manufacturing Engineer MDP role. But then I got ghosted and never heard back about a final interview, after already doing 2 screenings and 2 interviews. That was disappointing.

Behavioral Technical

It was a pretty standard interview process. Started with a screen call from a recruiter, then moved to a Zoom interview with the hiring manager. They focused on my resume experience and asked some general accounting questions, with not many behavioral questions.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview was professional and casual, conducted with the Maintenance Manager and Production Manager. They asked about my past roles, my knowledge base, how I would handle this specific position, and my plans for addressing current challenges. I also got a tour of the facility to see the areas I'd be responsible for.

Behavioral Other

I had an initial phone call with the HR Manager. A couple of weeks later, I went for an in-person interview. When I arrived, the leader I was supposed to meet wasn't there. Someone from HR quickly stepped in and interviewed me. They did a decent job adjusting the schedule, but I felt like they weren't really serious about hiring me. It seemed more like they wanted to pick my brain about their recruiting problems. To see if my hunch was right, I sent a thank-you email. No response came for weeks. I sent another email asking for an update, and still nothing! It was disappointing to not get any feedback, especially since I traveled from out of state. I'd understand if I wasn't a good fit, but a simple response shouldn't be too much to ask. Because I felt disrespected, I asked for reimbursement for my travel and meal expenses, which I also haven't heard back about. I appreciated meeting the team and don't really care about the money, but the lack of professionalism from HR was a big letdown. I think they have a good business with growth potential, but they need to get the right people in place to reach it.
