After applying, I got a call for an initial screening. Then I had an online interview with the manager that seemed to go really well. After that, I had a second video interview scheduled. But right as I was about to start the second interview online, they told me it had to be rescheduled. It was a bit annoying, but I get that things happen. A few days went by with no update on rescheduling. I reached out to MTSI and they said they were still trying to find a time. And then... nothing. I thought this was really unprofessional. They have every right to pass on my application, but they should have at least let me know, especially since I put in time and effort preparing for both interviews. I'd heard great things about MTSI and was pretty disappointed by how this whole thing went down.

Recruiter contacted me for the role. I stated my salary expectations upfront, showing documentation, as I believed I was above their range. The recruiter initially said it was okay but could 'likely work with it'. After interviewing and getting excited, they mentioned an offer. However, the recruiter later stated they couldn't meet my salary requirements and tried to get me to accept a significant pay cut, justifying it with their bonus structure. They then suggested keeping in touch, implying that if others in a lower salary range were hired, they might cover my difference. Ultimately, I was ghosted after expressing my minimum requirements. Despite this, the recruiter led me through three phone calls and an interview, with ten emails, to try and lowball me when they knew they couldn't meet my needs.
