The interview process was extremely disorganized. The manager was unfriendly from the beginning and the overall environment felt chaotic. It seemed like the staff were all overworked. I didn't get a job offer, and honestly, I wouldn't work there for any amount of money.

Behavioral Technical Other

I applied online and it took two weeks to hear back from the hiring manager. The technician supervisor emailed me to set up an interview, which happened the same week. The interview was nice, I learned more about the job and duties. They gave me a tour of the place and I met some coworkers. Right at the end, they asked me to come back for a working interview. We set it up for the next week, and it was about 3-4 hours long. I wore my own scrubs and got to watch and help a kennel attendant. After 3-4 hours, I met with the supervisor again, and they asked if I still liked it and was interested. I said yes, and the next steps were references and then HR paperwork. She sent me a reference sheet to fill out, and after a while (1-2 weeks), I got the job offer via email. They asked me to attend the next orientation. The entire process from applying to my first day took about 6-8 weeks.

Behavioral Other

I applied for the job on Craigslist and got a quick response asking me to come in that week. The first interview was short, about 20 minutes, with the head of the law enforcement department. He didn't seem to have set questions, just asked why I wanted the job and my 10-year plan. It was very direct, no small talk. He mentioned I was the last candidate he was interviewing and that he'd select three people for a second round. The following week, he called to set up the second interview. This time, I met two people I'd be working with. This interview was more relaxed and lasted an hour and a half, with me doing most of the talking. They seemed happy with me and gave me a building tour. They said they'd decide in a week. After a week and a half, I emailed for an update. They sent a generic email saying they went with someone else. Since I met all the requirements and had two good interviews, I replied asking what led to their decision and if they had any feedback for my job search. They never responded.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It took weeks. I was contacted in December. Had two interviews (one phone and one in person) both over an hour. After the interviews, they said they'd contact me after the holidays to schedule a part three. The last step would be a working interview. I waited till after the holidays to email the hiring manager and after MULTIPLE attempts, I was ignored. No one reached out to answer my questions or talk about the position. Poor professionalism.
