We started with an HR interview, then I talked to the Director of the department, and finally, I had an interview with the Chief sector. Oh wait, I think I mentioned the first HR interview then Director of department , finally the Chief sector part twice. Let's just say it was HR interview, then Director of department, and finally the Chief sector.

The interview was super easy. You usually go through 2 short interviews. They asked very basic questions, like where you live, how you commute, and what your availability is. One question they asked was what you think good hospitality is. You know right after if you are hired or not.

About a week after I applied online, I had a 30-minute phone chat with a nice HR person. It was mostly general stuff, like questions about my resume, how I spent my day, why I'm interested in Microsoft, and why I'd be a good fit. I actually messed up the 'good fit' question because I hadn't read the job ad! But the recruiter was super cool and gave me another shot the next day. This time, I really dug into what the job entails and related it to my past work. It went pretty well, but I had to wait a whole week to hear back. After that week, they invited me to the company's HQ for an interview a week later. This in-person interview was with two people, a senior Ad Ops Manager and the Head of Ad Ops. About half the questions were standard interview fare like 'tell me about yourself,' 'how you handle pressure,' and 'your 5-year plan.' The other half focused on MSN, its competitors, current campaigns, and the tools they use. After the discussion, there was a 15-20 minute written test covering basic HTML and Javascript. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and everyone was very friendly.

After many rounds of interviews, and some confusion about the best team fit, I finally received a call following the fourth round. The rest of the process after that went smoothly.
