I applied online and got a call the next week from a pleasant person, but it was only to schedule a time for a terrible AI timed assessment with video (60 minutes, four sections, some with two videos plus written answers). The questions were poorly written and timed, not the kind you can answer without company feedback. The video didn't even mirror correctly, making you look like a bizarro version of yourself. I went through with it to be polite, but I knew I'd be rejected, which happened two days later. This was the worst 'interview' I've encountered in my long career in this field. The position has been open for months.

Behavioral Other

I was sent an email and asked to submit a recorded interview. I also had to complete a predictive index. I did both and then emailed the person asking what's next, but they totally ghosted me and never responded. It was a horrible candidate experience.

Behavioral Technical

Applied online. Got an email from the recruiter for a phone screening. A week later, she emailed me to schedule an in-person interview. The place was nicely decorated but it felt like no one was working that day. I didn't have a good feeling about the place and knew it wouldn't be a good fit. The interviewers were closed off and not very enthusiastic. They seem to look for "culture fit" candidates, which is an old-fashioned way to hire. They have no flexibility for remote work. I could tell by their questions they are set in their ways about design and aren't willing to keep up with the industry. Overall, I was not impressed.

The interview was challenging but equitable. I attended two distinct interviews and spoke with the HR staff and some account executives. They posed typical interview questions and reviewed my resume.
