I was first contacted by the HR team via email, then had an initial video call where we discussed personality tests. The next video call went into more detail about the job, the interview process, and the test results. The third stage was supposed to be an interview with a manager, but I never heard back, positive or negative, despite following up.

The recruitment process for this role was excessively long and complicated. There were two interviews: the first was with the department manager, a standard interview that went fine. The second interview was with an HR representative and it was a disaster. It felt like a competitive exam or applying for a director position. The interviewer was only interested in hearing what she wanted to hear, interrupted me, and made judgments. It was the most unpleasant interview I've ever had. This interview was not suitable for the position I was applying for.

The interview process is pretty straightforward. First, they'll have you come in for some testing, which is easy. If you pass that, you'll be invited back for an interview and a tour with the head of the department you're applying for. If that goes well, you'll have a third interview with the head of HR. If everything checks out, they'll start the hiring process, which includes an FBI background check and reference checks. If your background is clear, they'll offer you the job. You'll then sign an offer sheet detailing the role and pay. Finally, you'll undergo a physical and drug test. Once the doctor gives the okay, they'll set your official start date!

I had a phone call first, then an in-person meeting with two people. They asked about my motivations, why I'm interested in this company, how I handle cases, and my experiences. They're looking for teamwork and the ability to process cases quickly.
